I have found this really great site, for Ruth Beechick. She gives some great ideas on scheduling and other things that will help you in your homeschooling. This site has helped me simpliy my learning ways so much this past month. It has also taught me how to relax and breath.

This is a great place to find a Recycling group in your community. I belong to one and run the group in my area. It is a great place to find items you need for your home, and to post items you no longer need. They find a new home and you keep things out of our garbage dumps/landflls.

Trying to add some zazz

Well i have the time to I am trying to add some zazz to my blog. I am using a book to see if it will help. I am new to the blogs and could use all the help I can get.
The book I am using is Publish a Blog with Blogger. If you know of a book that has helped you, Please let me know.

Here is what the mantle looks like for the holiday season. I will post another after the holiday. Haven't decided what to do, yet.

easy Christmas Decorating

We have a real simple way of decorating- we came up with 3 themes that we use. It makes it easy this way. I have one plastic storage box I use for each theme. Each box contains all the porch and house items for that theme. We have a snowflake theme, a candy cane theme and an ornament theme. In the box for the ornament theme which we are using this year. It contains the lights the wreath with the ornaments already one it. And all the porch ornaments(I bought nice big ones at Walmarts) to add to this theme this year. It also includes any ribbons, and indoor decorations we might also use. I have bowls of antique ornaments, ornament decorations, and window clings. I do this with every theme we use. Then we just alternate between them. I have been thinking of even decorating the tree in the same theme. I have to think about that.

How we do our learning

Our homeschool learning is a bit different then most. We have a couple of different medical conditions to work around. Our oldest daughter has hemiplegic migraines, so she has some special things we work around for her. Our youngest daughter is ADHD so her learning is in fragmented sections.

This blog is centered to what I have found that works and what doesn't work for us.

I attempted blogging a few months ago. But I had no time, so I am trying it again. I have decided to take the time for me. Now that the kids are older we are setting up a time just for me after there school is done. So that is my blog time. Now I have to set up the blog.

Boy do I need help with that.
